JJS-Gold Souk Jewellery Awards thrill Jaipur

Aerens Gold Souk Group and Jaipur Jewellery Show (JJS) hosted their third annual Gold Souk-JJS Jewelley Awards here tonight. An exclusive awards function to honor the stalwarts of the Jewellery industry for their outstanding achievements, JJS-Gold Souk Jewellery Awards 2008 put together a glittering show at Rajasthan’s first exclusive jewellery mall Gold Souk Jaipur.

The awards brought together the who’s who of the jewellery fraternity along with distinguished members of the Royal family and Bollywood celebrities. Jointly organized by Aerens Gold Souk Group (AGS) – the makers of India’s first Gold Souk and Jaipur Jewellery Show, the Awards provided a unique platform for the diverse Gems and Jewellery industry to work together towards a common goal.




Kerala’s first KFC at Gold Souk Grande rocks Kochi

Kerala’s first KFC opened on December 1, 2009 to a tumultuous response exclusively at Gold Souk Grande Kochi. Over 5,000 customers visited the outlet on the opening day and with each passing day crowds are steadily building up as word of mouth publicity about the ‘finger licking good’ experience grows.

Gold Souk Gurgaon clocks record sales on Dhanteras

Gold Souk Gurgaon, India’s first specialty jewellery mall created history of sorts when it recorded highest ever sales on Dhanteras. Over 9,000 shoppers visited Gold Souk Gurgaon with over 90% making purchases. This was in sharp contrast to other prominent markets where jewelers reported average sales.

Customers could be seen lining up inside showrooms at Gold Souk since early in the day and this trend continued till late at night. Both jewelers and shoppers reveled in the festive atmosphere made memorable by wonderful promotions with winners taking gold coins and the chance to win the bumper prize of a diamond necklace from Bollywood’s hottest celebrity couple Saif Ali Khan & Kareena Kapoor.

Most customers said they were attracted by the fabulous choice of jewellery from over 100 jewellers as well as the secure ambience and of course the fabulous promotions. Jewellers at Gold Souk were more than happy with the turn out and most said it showed how the balance had shifted from crowded markets in favour of specialty malls. Mr. Amit Bumb of Avenue Montaigne, India’s leading branded jewelry store said “It is quite creditable that Gold Souk is able to attract such large crowds given the high gold rate.”

Hari Bhai of Premji Valji Jewellers pointed out that “Gold Souk has over the years created tremendous goodwill among customers and the positive turnout on Dhanteras is a result of that.” Many jewellers with multiple outlets were pleasantly surprised to see their showrooms at Gold Souk outsell those in other major markets.
